Goals and Vision

The vision of the Ministry of Environmental Protection for "green campuses"

• To serve as centers for education, research and development of environmental technologies that are crucial for solving environmental problems in the country.

• To serve as stations for experimentation and demonstration of new environmental developments, and as models for sustainable behavior.
   
• Environmental content will be integrated into the courses taught in all departments in the students’ study tracks (law, behavioral sciences, engineering, live sciences and more).
   
• To serve as a focal point for environmental leadership of lecturers and students, and to raise a generation that will embrace environmental considerations in its decision making and promote sustainable development in Israel.
